no word but starting to see how the reaction of hearing bout new regular updates are not only exciting ppl but what ppl want as well. However I'll expand on hearing as well. If u read the post here or on other places concerning their most recent financial report accrediting AION w/ their success for coming back over 300% in the end it also speaks of GW, it states that one factor for no major gains on the NA/EU side was lack of expansion for. We all think of it as working on GW2 and localizing as we wait for AION, well now they realize this was kinda fatal in their thinking especially after this long drawn out process that has become GW2 and info relating too. That GW needs content, not only for those who have stayed committed but those who are still regularly coming along or try to bring them back. Hence NEW content updates being spoke of now....
Now to go a bit further, for some ideas on what to expect may be:
Pvp is needed ~ as part of a more pvp oriented crowd, there has long been frustration because of lack of any new content, areas or broadening it, let alone making it viable and a TRUE reason to commit to strong pvp guilds and or areas, admit it ANET lost its way on pvp a long time go. this would definitely be something that should be considered.
Someone had mentioned Mini pet bags, anyone remember when Gail originally spoke about something similar, as well as storage for our mask and the like .. we now have Equipment packs... so i dont think this would be too far fetched. And again solves some minor or major storage issues.

@Mini pet bags
Storage was turned into a 'pay to solve it' issue. I don't see any reason for them to make anything stackable/storable ever again.
It sucks because even if you bought all campaings+preorders+collector's+bmp and were cheated out of char slots (so you can buy more) you won't have maxed out your storage. I know it is a business but hell we bought everything there is for our accounts and now still need to pay more for storage.
/endrant
I don't see storage changing or being updated ever again. I do see them adding 'a little bit' of pvp content (new maps?) and maybe also a little pve content. We're lacking STATS, could be zone stats (drops/health/deaths/exp/faction/etc), pvp stats, etc.
We are lacking a title for questing. We are lacking emotes (be it mini emotes or small visual/particle effects depending on title displayed).
I'm sure Anets list of 'things we can do' is pretty big.

i'd like to see an pvp(ve) update/upgrade some time in the future, but it is no necessity for me. the last update made a lot of things possible that i'd long for and it will take some time before i cry "more, please!".

A teabagging emote? I'd totally buy that!

This.
What is frustrating is that this is already set up. They released it by accident and it was out for several days before it was removed. I understand there needs to be modifications and bug fixes, but the system is there and it shouldn't take too much extra work to get it released.

I prefer Zero Content Update but really balance Skill update, to revive some dead prof/skill/elite (beast master, ritualist spawning etc etc)

Are you talking about the 4 year anniversary update?
The one that finally gave us:
1. More storage.
2. A zoo.
3. daily quests.
4. An awesome new Traveling Collector.
If that's a "pointless" update, I would love to see more of them!

Whatever it is that they plan on giving us, I'm sure they'll give us a hint in the next Developer Update, which I'm presuming will be out later today.

They said PvP love, not PvE love. No AB ladders for you. Any format where the majority of the opposition balls up for RoJ'ing, whether human or nonhuman, is not PvP. It's farming PvE-style.

Good luck on that. I've reported at least 3 different armor bugs over 3 years ago, multiple times, with screenshots and in a couple cases suggestions on a fix along with either a PS image showing said fix or a description of the bug in the 3d model and the most likely cause and they have NEVER been touched/fixed to this day.
It takes FAR too much time to have an Anet 3dartist go in and take up to 30 min to fix a mesh bug

More content updates make sense.. I'm sure that last update brought a lot of people back to the game (it certainly brought me back) and they likely made quite a bit of money from things the stylist.
The more they add to the game like this, the more people are going to play..
It'd be nice to see some new armour skins.

Part of the problem the Live Team is facing now is that they have a very small and limited team. I forget where, but Lindsey said they don't even have a full-time artist. Several of the staff they routinely steal from working on GW2 in order to make these updates possible.
